Although marijuana is legal in the Bay State, it remains illegal to transport large quantities across state or international borders. This was made clear by law enforcement after another individual was caught attempting to bring a significant amount of marijuana through Boston Logan International Airport to the United Kingdom. A 19-year-old woman from London was arrested by U.S. Customs and Border agents after they confiscated approximately 70 pounds of marijuana before her flight back to the U.K., as announced by the Suffolk DA’s office on Tuesday.
