Trevor Story, the former All-Star and Silver Slugger for the Rockies, has yet to fully showcase his talents to the Red Sox. On Monday, he returned to Coors Field for the first time since signing a $140 million contract with Boston in 2022. However, Story has faced numerous injuries since signing the deal, playing only 94 games in 2022 due to hand and foot problems, undergoing Tommy John surgery and playing only 43 games last year, and recently undergoing left shoulder surgery after injuring himself while diving for a ball in the eighth game of this season.
