According to Miriam Fauzia of The Dallas Morning News, as more people support the decriminalization of marijuana, new research is revealing its effects on sleep and memory. A study published in The American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse by University of Texas at Dallas researchers found that adults with cannabis use disorder had worse sleep and performed worse on tests measuring visuospatial memory, which involves retaining and processing information about an object’s appearance and location.
