A former politician from Massachusetts has been arrested by federal agents for allegedly scamming investors in his cannabis business. Bruce Spinney III, a former chair of the Grafton Select Board, was taken into custody by FBI agents in Boston on Friday. The 49-year-old has been charged with three counts of wire fraud for his involvement in a scheme to deceive investors in his marijuana company, as reported by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Massachusetts.
